The honest answer is approximately 3-5 weeks from start to delivery, depending on the time of year and how quickly artwork moves through approval. Here is exactly what happens at each stage and where time is most commonly lost.
Stage 1: Quote and Order Confirmation
Typical time: 1-2 business days
After you submit a quote request, we review your order details, confirm bottle availability in the plant closest to your location, and send back pricing including estimated freight. Once you confirm and provide a credit card for the 50% deposit, the order moves into production.
This stage is fast. The main variable is how quickly you respond to the quote.
Stage 2: Artwork Submission and Label Design
Typical time: 2-7 business days
This is where most timeline delays actually happen, and it is worth understanding why.
Once your deposit is received, our graphic designers begin building your label. If you are providing your own artwork, we need it in the correct format -- 300 DPI or higher, vector files or Adobe Illustrator files preferred. If your logo is low resolution or needs to be recreated, that adds time.
If you need us to design the label from scratch, our designers work from your logo, brand colors, and any text or contact information you want included.
The design itself typically takes 2-7 business days. The variable is how prepared you are when you place the order and how quickly revisions can be turned around.

Stage 3: Proof Review and Approval
Typical time: 1-5 business days (the biggest variable in the entire process)
Once the label design is complete, we send you a full color digital proof for review. We do not print a single label without your explicit approval.
This stage is the single biggest source of timeline variation. Customers who review and approve the proof same-day move into production immediately. Customers who need revisions, have multiple internal stakeholders, or take several days to respond can add a week or more to the total timeline without realizing it.
Common reasons proofs take longer:
Needing internal sign-off from multiple people
Requesting revisions to layout, colors, or text
Going back and forth on logo placement or sizing
Delayed email responses
Tip: Treat proof approval as a priority task the day you receive it. Every day the proof sits in your inbox is a day added to your delivery date.
Stage 4: Production

Once you approve the proof, your order enters production at the bottling plant closest to your delivery location. Labels are printed, bottles are filled and labeled, and cases are palletized for freight.
Production time is consistent and not something you can speed up after the order is placed. This is the fixed portion of the timeline.
Stage 5: Freight and Delivery
Typical time: 2-5 business days depending on destination
Custom bottled water ships by freight carrier, not parcel. Transit time depends on the distance between the bottling plant and your delivery location. Customers close to one of our 10 plants typically receive orders faster than those in more remote areas.
Freight transit is not expeditable in most cases. Plan for it as a fixed window at the end of the timeline.

April through August: 4-6 weeks. Order early. This is peak season and production schedules fill quickly.
September through March: 3-4 weeks. Faster turnaround is more consistently available.
Reorders any season: approximately one week faster than new orders because your label is already on file and the design stage is eliminated.
