Types of Custom Water

Bottled Water Store offers a variety of water types!

All our water is:

  1. Bottled in FDA Approved and Inspected Facility

  2. Purified to the Highest Standards

  3. Bottled Under Rigorous Sanitation and Testing Procedures

By far the most common choice, our purified water is rigorously purified and comes out clean and refreshing!

Purified Water

  • To begin the process, we pull water directly from the local utility company. Although the water has already been purified, we take nothing for granted.

  • The water softening process removes excess minerals and any heavy metals present, including lead mercury and iron.

  • Activated charcoal removes chlorine and other other odor causing chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides.

  • Using Pressure, the water is spread across a semi permeable membrane that only allows purified water through. The impurities are caught by the membrane and discarded.

  • Starting at 10 microns and stepping down to .2 microns, these filters are able to catch incredibly small particles still suspended in the water.

  • UV light kills any organic matter, including bacteria or viruses that could be present.

  • The water is run through the activated charcoal filter a second time.

  • Ozone is just 3 oxygen atoms, and is completely colorless and orderless. The best part is it is much more effective at sanitizing than chlorine, and without the smell. After about 24 hours the ozone breaks down into simple O2, the same oxygen you breathe in the air.

  • At this point, we test the water to ensure it meets our rigorous standards. Only then do we bottle the water, apply your custom label, and ship it to you directly.

Spring Water

Spring Water is a great way to enhance the flavor of your custom water.

The main difference between Purified Water and Spring Water is the number of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS).

TDS represents the total concentration of dissolved substances in water. TDS is made up of inorganic salts, as well as a small amount of organic matter. Common inorganic salts that can be found in water include calcium, magnesium, potassium and sodium, which are all cations, and carbonates, nitrates, bicarbonates, chlorides and sulfates.

These minerals can originate from a number of sources, both natural and as a result of human activities. Mineral springs contain water with high levels of dissolved solids, because the water has flowed through a region where the rocks have a high salt content.

At Bottled Water Store, our spring water contains between 17 and 23 Parts Per Million (PPM). Besides the source being different, the purification process for Spring water is the same as outlined above.

Alkaline Water

*Limited by Geography, 2 Pallet Minimum Order

The PH scale measures the acidity of liquids. A PH of 7 is considered to be “neautral” (not acidic or basic). Most bottled water falls between 6.5 and 8.5.

Alkaline Water from Bottled Water Store has a PH of 9.4 making it more basic than traditional purified/spring water.

Electrolyte Infused Water

*Limited by Geography, 1 Pallet Minimum Order

Electrolyte water is infused with electrically-charged minerals, such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium

Water Type FAQ

  • yes, all our bottling plants are inspected and governed by the FDA as well as their respective state health agency.

  • The spring water comes from the natural spring nearest the bottling plant. We can provide additional detail once we know which plant you will be utilizing.
