The Lightness of PET

During the last few years one of the most important social scenarios that had to deal with anyone involved in package design is certainly the consumers emerging green consciousness. Another important choice – the light-weighting of containers. To get light or ultra-light bottles, many aesthetic and technological variables must be taken into consideration because of the big impact, not only on the perception of the brand, but also on the manufacturing process. Great for the environment, great for the consumer, the ability to reduce the weight of the container and the use of raw materials becomes a key factor in the direction of sustainability.
